No idea where's been (OK, possibly under next door's van) or how to clean him - have tried with a wet cloth, that has shifted only some of the muck. I mean, my mostly black cat is always immaculate. Trust the mostly white one to come home covered in whatever (not the first time it's happened...).

Also also - the neighbour tells me that he's best friends with their DOG. Yes, you read that right. Fair enough, he's probably bigger than the dog, but still............!

Also also also - apparently, he *plays* with squirrels.

That's a very good idea, that is... Kitten will smell like a girl for a little while (to his eternal disgust, no doubt!).

I am making cheesecake... And fried chicken-cooked-in-the-oven. And other bits. :)
