No idea where's been (OK, possibly under next door's van) or how to clean him - have tried with a wet cloth, that has shifted only some of the muck. I mean, my mostly black cat is always immaculate. Trust the mostly white one to come home covered in whatever (not the first time it's happened...).

Also also - the neighbour tells me that he's best friends with their DOG. Yes, you read that right. Fair enough, he's probably bigger than the dog, but still............!

Also also also - apparently, he *plays* with squirrels.

If he's been playing around under next door's vans that is probably oil. In which case you will need something like an industrial hand cleaner to shift it.

As for playing with dogs and squirrels - he either loves all the world without prejudice, or is having a personality crisis.

Well, he went out this morning while it was raining (the usual lowering of the hydraulic pressure thing...) and came back soaking wet, so he's a tad cleaner. I might try makeup remover on his head later.:)

Could be either, really - you know what a loving cat he is, but I have had doubts about a split personality at times... I used to play fetch with him when he was a kitten :)

Also - apparently coal Tits will form small flocks with other Tits in winter, and one of the favourite foods is sunflower seeds...
Don't know why I bother with anything else, really. AND I saw my Robin this morning. :D

Mascara remover would probably be best, and it is formulated to minimise eye damage.

I used to play fetch with one of our cats until the puppy arrived, after which the puppy would get there first, being much faster than the cat.

That's a very good idea, that is... Kitten will smell like a girl for a little while (to his eternal disgust, no doubt!).
