Young Jack demonstrating what he thinks of the weather if it gets above 20c...:)

I had been faffing about with a beautiful shell I have, and thought that the grass would make a lovely background.
Of course the cats came to investigate...

My chosen pic would have been this one of Tom:



only the exposure is all wrong, but it still makes a lovely portrait of him (plenty of attitude in that cat).

Lastly, my fav shot of Marbles - for vilakins:


To be honest the exposure is wrong in Jack's pic too, but I am not even attemptng to reshoot...

I am beginning to believe that super models come back as cats in their next life. Cats just know how to pose for the best effect, and of course they know they are much better subjects than any shell you can find. They are lovely pusses.

I think the exposure on the first one is just fine -- and I like the pot in the upper left corner. There's an echo of color tone with Jack's spots, and it looks like the pot agrees with Jack about the weather.

The last one, of Marbles, looks like something from I Can Has Cheeseburger... But I can't think of a caption, right now. :-)

Tom reminds me a lot of Fred, a cat that had us when I was about four to six or so. And I love the lighting in that one, even if it's too dark by "conventional" standards. It gives a real sense of the summer verdure

Hee, Tom looks like he's going for his keys or his wallet in his furry pocket!

And Marbles! What a contented cat, and what unusual markings! She's in what we call the "leaning on the bar at the pub" pose. You have a nice desktop there too (besides Marbles!). I love bridges.

Marbles was something else... I saw her chase a fox off once!
Tom was caught mid-grooming... he wasn't too impressed by me or the camera.
And Jack just knows he's cute...:)
