I have just been told that there is an island (I think) off Haiti which was Captain Morgan's base... And I have a promise I shall be taken there.............:))

Two weeks (OK, and two days) and counting. So far I only have the ticket to Miami, because at this particular point in time we still don't know if we're staying in Miami or not.

But, hey.

Me? I HATE flying with a vengeance, I am SO going to miss the cats/my books/my bed/my pc, and have agreed to two weeks away on the other side of the world. I must be mad.
Oh, and jet lag... My sister was telling me all about strategies about it (she should know, she works for BA), and a jungle tablet thing I should get from Boots. Apparently the only thing that works for mosquitoes.

First ever time on American soil, and it looks like it will be just an overnight stay.
You lot on the other side of the pond - no time to visit *this* time, but if I survive the flight I might be back to do my own thing and visit people....:)

Apart from that - I spent the day counting seats in screens (apparently we have all been found wanting - NOT. My site's numbers were as advertised... But the execs wanted to know, because it could mean a hell of a difference with film rental), and have been sworn at by the same gipsy kid that was escorted out yesterday.
(He called me a fat bitch yesterday, and four eyes today - points for not repeating the same insult, I think).

Time for supper.
