The dogs belong to my new neighbours - when I discovered that it wasn't possible to go to work today (no public transport of any sort was running) I made plans with Andrew and Jackie to go to the park with the dogs (theirs) and the camera (mine).
The dogs had a grand time, playing with us and everybody else willing to throw a stick, and I took a ton of pictures. :)
The sweet thing was that the park was full of grown ups building snowmen while saying 'isn't this nice' to perfect strangers and grinning like kids let out of school early.
I guess today felt like an impromptu holiday for many people - all those that either didn't absolutely had to work, or those (like me) who simply couldn't for logistical reasons.
I know that for some of you lot our pitiful 30 cm of snow is risible... London isn't equipped for that though.
As Boris (our mayor) said this morning: it was the right kind of snow, but the wrong quantity.
I like Boris. :)
